The CES 2015 Social Sharing Solution, Powered by Pixe Social, Wins Internet Advertising Competition Award for Best Technology Interactive Application


Pixe Social, the Maryland-based provider of interactive social promotion solutions to brands and marketers, announces that its interactive application for the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has been honored with the 2015 Internet Advertising Competition Award for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising.


CES is the largest face-to-face showcase of emerging innovation, which attracts over 3,000 exhibitors and 150K+ professionals from the consumer electronics industry. With so much to see and absorb, the CES event organizers was keen on providing an official social promotion and sharing solution for attendees to record their favorite memories and spread the word.


The Official CES Social Photo Booth gave attendees the chance to show off their fun, hi-tech experiences at the event with friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram in real-time, live from the Las Vegas Convention Center. Each photo shared using Pixe Social was branded with a custom CES digital frame and the event hashtag to add to the social buzz.


As the most active contributor and social photographer using the show hashtag, Pixe Social reached an estimated 2.6 million users on Twitter. The 3,465 photos shared by attendees during the event reached over 147,000 unique Facebook users, generating 306,540 individual impressions in the process.
